Hi, my name is Edith Efua Hiagbe, officially known as Edith Efua Chidi. I am an Advocacy, Communications & Brand Leader with 20+ years’ experience shaping narratives, influencing policy, and building coalitions across Ghana and beyond. Passionate about gender equality and child rights, I convene and lead multi-stakeholder movements — including a 78-CSO cluster driving the campaign for Ghana’s Affirmative Action Bill.

Currently, I head the Communications & Brands department of SOS Children’s Villages in Ghana, where I drive strategic communications, strengthen partnerships, and position the organization as a trusted leader in alternative care and social development. My expertise spans policy advocacy, strategic communications, crisis management, stakeholder engagement, and donor relations, underpinned by a strong record of delivering impact-driven campaigns.

I thrive at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and social change, using communications as a tool to shift systems, empower communities, and amplify voices that matter.
